"I used to be happy with my body, but over the past several years there have been some stressful life changing events; I've obviously aged as well. Along with all of these changes, my body and face seemed to turn into a person that I was unhappy looking at in a mirror and I avoided cameras if possible.
Slowly I'm learning to like the way I look again and I know that with with more hard work and time I will begin to love it.

Having a positive body image for myself to portray to my two daughters is important because there is so much pressure on them to look like the girls in magazines, on TV and in movies. If my daughters can learn to love themselves, be comfortable in their own skin, and accept their flaws I will have done that one part of my job as a Mom.”
